An Coimisiún Eorpach // European Commission (Erasmus+)
Active: 2022 - 2024
CLICA supports young people in the West of Ireland to address the climate and environmental crisis through artistic and creative practices. Imeall is involved in this project in partnership with organisations in Hungary, Greece, Italy, Finland, Cyprus and Spain, and receives funding from the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme.
CLICA has produced an E-Learning platform where youth and youth facilitators are able to access learning content on a variety of topics ranging from artivism to Green Deal policies. The platform brings young people together in regional and EU online groups where they can work together to improve policymaking and raise awareness about climate change. The platform is open to youth across Europe, so we invite you to register and connect with peers across different European countries, who are aiming to take action against climate change.

Through observations and questioning, hands-on activities, exploration and music, they learned about concepts relating to carbon in the atmosphere, the role of carbon in ocean acidification, and the ways that one small activity on dry land can lead to consequences for the species that live in our oceans.
